JACKSONVILLE, Fla., June 27, 2025 – Snowbird Technologies is proud to announce its participation in the 2025 Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) Commercial Capabilities Showcase, taking place July 30–31 at the Louisiana Tech Academic Success Center in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Now in its fourth year, this exclusive event—hosted in partnership with the Small Business Consulting Corporation (SBCC)—connects innovative commercial technologies with AFGSC leaders who are shaping the future of strategic deterrence. The showcase offers a rare opportunity for companies to engage directly with key Air Force decision-makers, gather valuable insights, and forge impactful relationships to accelerate capability development.
AFGSC plays a vital role in the nation’s defense, providing strategic deterrence, global strike capabilities, and combat support to U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) and other combatant commands. With more than 33,700 personnel across two numbered air forces, 12 wings, and multiple advanced weapon systems—including all USAF intercontinental ballistic missiles and bomber aircraft—AFGSC leads the charge in strategic innovation.
At this year’s showcase, Snowbird Technologies will present SAMM Tech—our revolutionary Additive Mobile Manufacturing Technology—a powerful platform engineered for point-of-need, deployable manufacturing. Designed for high-performance environments, SAMM Tech seamlessly integrates 3-axis plastic and metal additive manufacturing with advanced 5-axis CNC machining. It also features 3D scanning for real-time quality assurance and reverse engineering.
Visitors to the demonstration will experience the 10-foot SAMM Tech unit in action, equipped with the Meltio directed-energy-deposition print engine, Slice Engineering Mosquito Prime plastic extruder system, and Creaform MetraSCAN Optical 3D scanner—delivering unmatched flexibility, precision, and autonomy in the field.
Snowbird Technologies is eager to demonstrate how SAMM Tech can support mission readiness and sustainment, while collaborating with AFGSC to refine capabilities tailored for Air Force applications.
