PRESS RELEASE | Snowbird Technologies to Showcase Advanced Atmospheric Water Generation Capabilities at WaterPalooza 2026

JACKSONVILLE, FL — Snowbird Technologies, a leader in expeditionary equipment solutions for extreme and austere environments, will showcase its latest atmospheric water generation technologies at WaterPalooza 2026, taking place September 14–17, 2026, at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.

As part of the event, Snowbird Technologies will demonstrate its SAWG-150 Atmospheric Water Generator, featuring a newly integrated reverse osmosis (RO) component designed to expand the system’s potential daily water production capacity to more than 800 gallons per day. The enhanced configuration demonstrates Snowbird’s continued focus on developing scalable, expeditionary water solutions capable of supporting military operations where access to reliable potable water may be limited or disrupted.

The SAWG-150 combines atmospheric water generation with an integrated 20 kW diesel generator, providing both water production and onboard power generation within a single expeditionary platform. The integration of reverse osmosis technology further expands the system’s potential utility by enabling additional water treatment and production capabilities to support a broader range of operational requirements.

Snowbird Technologies will also demonstrate the SAWG-28 Atmospheric Water Generator, powered directly by the 20 kW generator integrated into the SAWG-150. This demonstration will highlight the ability of Snowbird’s atmospheric water generation systems to operate as an integrated, self-sustaining capability in austere environments—without requiring a separate external power source for the smaller SAWG-28 unit.

“Water is one of the most critical requirements for any operation, and the ability to generate and purify water at the point of need can significantly reduce the logistical burden associated with traditional water resupply,” said Karl Wojtkun, Vice President of Business Development at Snowbird Technologies. “WaterPalooza provides an excellent opportunity to demonstrate how we are combining atmospheric water generation, water treatment, and onboard power generation into increasingly capable expeditionary solutions designed for the realities of contested and austere environments.”

The SAWG family of systems is designed to extract water from atmospheric humidity and provide a decentralized source of potable water without relying solely on traditional water supply infrastructure. By integrating water generation, treatment, and power capabilities, Snowbird Technologies is advancing solutions intended to increase operational resilience and reduce dependence on vulnerable water and fuel distribution networks.

Snowbird Technologies’ participation at WaterPalooza 2026 builds on the company’s continued demonstrations of expeditionary water-generation technology with U.S. military customers and partners. The event will provide an opportunity for military, government, and industry stakeholders to engage directly with the systems and evaluate their potential applications for distributed operations, humanitarian assistance, disaster response, and other missions requiring reliable water in challenging environments.
